G’day all,
With BMD growing so fast, just trying to keep up with the demand for new boats and keeping everyone informed, we decided to bring out our “Reel Flare” newsletter. Hasn’t this been a steep learning curve. No doubt some of you received a couple of “test” letters from us as we tried out different methods of sending etc. Some worked, some didnt. Anyway, I think we’ve got it sorted now.
As for here in our design office, we got a ton of new designs we’re now working thru. We also had a good talk with Volvo and we’re now looking at stern drives in our bigger designs. Why wouldn’t you, they’re so cheap, especially once you get into the bigger boats. Anyway, more of that next time.

Latest New Designs .... The Run Riot 24
The Run Riot 24 is more than just a bay boat, its a longboat/ Panga style design that allows for offshore and inshore adventures. The Run Riot 24 offers the most storage space (almost double) of any panga or longboat style boat in its class.

Latest Launching ..... Anthonys Flat Chat 16
Great to see the first Flat Chat 16 hit the water. Talking with Anthony today, he’s now hitting 42 kts at 5200rpm...another 300 rpm to go. Looking forward to the next update

Until the Next Bite :
Fishing can always be a bit iffy on a full moon but today was cracker Dropping yakkas down to 60-65m the Kings were thick and all of them were over 65cm.

Fishing can always be a bit iffy on a full moon but today was cracker Dropping yakkas down to 60-65m the Kings were thick and all of them were over 65cm. Most fish were between 70 and 80. Plenty of boats jigging but livies were getting the bigger fish. Keeping 7 fish we left them biting. We could of bagged out but I think keeping that many fish at that size is excessive. The bag limit for kingfish is 5 per person. Thats a lot of fish.
