Plywood Boat Plans

Recent News From Bowdidge Marine Designs

Over the past two weeks, we decided to have a bit of a break from designing and work on getting our boat
A design were presently working on for a US client,
converting this from foam core construction to alloy
finished. No doubt the phone has been going crazy for new designs, so during the night Ive been working on them .
For our next generation of designs, were now going to be getting into more "Carolina Style boats", something were getting a lot of enquires for in regards to the Sports fishing scene. These new designs will range from 20 - 35 ft and will come out in various construction forms. Were also getting a lot of enquires for aluminium boats as well, so well be addressing this also. I also dropped in and had a great chat with Anthony from ATL composites, in regards to using some of their products in our up and coming new designs.
So all in all, over the next few months, things are going to get really exciting here at BMD

Anyway, we hope you all have a great week and as for me...gotta go and get out into the shed and work on our own boat (LOL)
So have a good one and...

Latest New Launchings

Nates EdgeTracker 426
Thanks everyone and cheers to the guys who came out for a gawk at the boat, what a great day to launch. I am really stoked with it and how it rides through a bit of lumpy stuff even with just me on board. After everyone had left I met up with my mate in his thundercat and we headed up to tipplers for a couple then headed back testing out a bit of cornering. Got to 26kts with 2 people on board, but didnt want to hang on to full throttle for long as it is a new engine.

Later the swell was a good metre and a bit and saw the torture of being in a 4m tinnie going slow, with the bow high, person up front trying to add ballast and I just rode past with some up and down leaving them in my dust.....or spray. Ha ha just wished had the camera out then  Thats it for now, I will try get more photos and stuff when the time suits and once again thanks for all your kind words, Im glad you like the boat
Cheers Nathan
