Warren from NSW (Australia) recently launched his Mushulu 12.

G,day there guys,
Thank you for your kind words, I have enjoyed building this boat through some very good challenges as well. Its Christmas morning 2010. 4.50am I gets up to go you know were and decided to have a squizz on the forum and see its been busy in here. Thanks again fellas.. keep on building. Mark said Ill be back in 12 months to build another one. I recon hes right ya know, just not sure which one I want to do!
So for now I,ll just have to get out there and go fishing and think this one through for a while. The M12 handles fantastic guys with a 15hp on the back. No need to go any more in HP, but thats up to the person at the time of their build. Im a happy camper thats for sure. Just keep sloggin on you slackers. Ill be checkin in every now and then as I would like to see how every one is going with theyre builds too.
I would like to let you know what a pleasure it has been building the Mushulu 12. It was a very simple boat to build and I think if I can build this boat, anyone can, The plans were dead set easy to follow and you dont need to have a degree to be able to read them. Whenever I needed any questions answered, you were always there to help out with any questions I had, even weekends!
So a big thankyou for your endless support while building my Mushulu 12.
Now that I have finally finished building, it was time to launch it at my local boat ramp. What a cracker ! It was so easy to launch on your own, unlike the big boats can be. I put it in the water and took off. The bow came up and I was on the plane, smooth and fast and she handled like a dream. With the strakes on the bottom of the boat, she turned like a falcon chasing its prey. There was no doubt that this boat is by far my all time favourite and would recommend this to anyone if they never have built a boat before or, even if they have, its a boat you just got to try out to believe. I cant wait to get back out there on the water ...Oh what a feeling.
Whilst I was out on the water having some fun, I also did some fishing and in a few hours of trolling in my new boat, I had snagged some nice fish for the table.
